The updated Government rules in England allow for a return to individual sporting activity. This includes running our MapRun courses in England individually (or with your household), provided you stick to the rules, run sensibly and maintain distance from other members of the public. You can find details of British Orienteering’s approach to resuming activity at their website.
Note that some of our MapRun courses are wholly or partly in Wales, where the rules remain as they were. You shouldn’t travel to these courses until the Welsh rules change – only do them if you’re local to them. These are the courses at Caldicot, Chepstow, Gwehelog, Monmouth and Sedbury, plus the Headless Hill MapTrail.
We’re still a way off being able to hold events, but we have a lot of courses around, and we hope that you shouldn’t have to travel far to find one to enjoy.
