At the JK, Easter Monday means relay day. This year’s event was very close to home at Caerwent Army training area near Chepstow.
NGOC fielded nine relay teams, from juniors to ultra-veterans. The terrain offered fast running through large open areas dotted with buildings and blast-proof banks, plus pockets of woodland where you had to choose your entry points carefully!
All NGOC’s teams enjoyed the day: the relay makes for a different type of event, with a frenetic mass start for the first runners and a nervous wait for the later legs. Thanks to BOK and BAOC for putting on a fun relay that ran so smoothly.
