Only a couple of days left to sign up for the Ninewells League race on Saturday…..and a couple of changes to the details for the day…
As we are based in Berry Hill Rugby Club, and England are playing Australia on Saturday morning, you have the opportunity to watch the game, with a beer, after your run, so we aim to open the start window 30 minutes earlier than usual, at 10:30, to give rugby enthusiasts time to get their run in without missing too much of the match. We will then aim to close the start window also 30 minutes earlier, at 12:00, though courses themselves will close as published at 14:00. However, if that causes you a problem, and you can’t get to the start for 12:00, please let us know by emailing equipment@ngoc.org.uk, so that we keep the start open for you, and please get there as soon as you can.
Please follow basic bio-security measures on Saturday, by cleaning your shoes well before coming the Ninewells, and again after you leave the forest.
Although it is forecast to be a very warm day on Saturday, we will be under tree cover the whole time, apart from on the walk to the start, so conditions will be as cool as they could be in the circumstances. Nevertheless you should hydrate well before running, and make use of the cafe (or the bar!) in the rugby club after your run to rehydrate.
If you haven’t entered yet, there is still time. Head on over to Fabian4.co.uk to sign up, before midnight tomorrow.
