What busy time we had last weekend! Huge thanks to all the helpers who made a long day go smoothly and cheerfully, and especially to Organiser Greg and Planner Pete Ward for making it all happen like clockwork. And no complaints from anyone that I am aware of, other than a disgruntled man sitting in a hide in the middle of the forest waiting for the rut - deer, not other people - who moaned at Pete for having the temerity to put a control by his hide. The rut isn't happening yet, so he has a long wait ahead of him in his hide!

And finally, a huge well done to SWJOS, overall third behind the 'big two' regions, Scotland and Yorkshire-Humberside. A great effort by Pete Maliphant and his helpers, and a growing South West Squad.
