Mainly pleasant residential streets and estates, with plenty of footpaths and linking alleyways etc, offering lots of route choice and in some places quite confusing little complexes of house, open ground and play areas etc. Newhouse farm, though, is not so much a farm as a large distribution centre/industrial estate, so that provides a bit more variety. Note that access to Newehouse Farm is only via the tunnel down the hill from the Start/Finish. You must not cross the motorway anywhere else.
