For our first winter MapRun of 2022-23, we return to Tewkesbury.
A change of scene, and map, for this race on Cleeve Hill, using the map updated for the British Night Championships.
We are back in the Forest of Dean for this race, but mixing suburban Coleford and its satellite villages with a bit forest path running, so plenty of variety.
We return to Monmouth after a couple of years break, though we did struggle(some of us) up the Kymin last Summer.
This week's MapRun is a mixed urban/rural event: the village streets of King's Stanley and Leonard Stanley are surrounded by field footpaths.
NGOC is very pleased to be able to remember Chris James, a stalwart of orienteering in the UK, former NGOC member and long time servant of the sport in a whole range of roles from Chair of BOF and later its Events and Competitions Committee, to familiar face on Enquiries at many a Scottish 6 Days event, and just as happily at local level D events.
This event in the Gloucester suburbs will cover Abbeydale, Abbeymead and Barnwood.

NGOC is pleased to invite you to May Hill.
To kick off our Spring MapRun series, we return to Innsworth/Longlevens, scene of one our earliest MapRuns back in 2018.
A lot has changed since our previous visit nearly 4 years ago.
