A course of ups and downs! Start in the valley bottom, and you can collect a handful of controls with little hill-climbing, but for a decent score you have to go half up the valley side towards Minchinhampton Common, and to get a good score you have to go all the way to top as well. The course is a lovely mix of quiet lanes and footpaths. Going is generally good, but there are some very steep paths, and in Summer a bit of undergrowth along some of them, though nothing serious enough to require full leg cover, if you don't mind the odd scratch or sting.
Note that for this course all controls are worth 20 points each, unlike our standard variable scores for some controls.

Parking At Merretts Industrial estate. Note that this is private land, used mainly by staff and customers of the businesses based there, so park considerately, and find somewhere else nearby if necessary.
