Well done to all the club members who travelled to Stirling today, and equalled our best ever result (6th) in the CompassSport Cup for larger clubs. We were the top club from the South of Britain for the first time, and beat Bristol!
Top scorers across the courses were Ros Taunton, Pat Macleod and Rose Taylor, with everyone contributing to the score. It was a long journey to get there, probably the furthest location for the final in many years – thanks to our outgoing captain Shirley Robinson for organising coach transport.
The final is much closer next year, so let’s hope we can qualify again. Our new captain Suzanne Harding has sent around a survey for you to vote on which heat you would prefer to attend: look out for it and send in your vote.
