Ian Jones has reported the sad news that Dave Jones died on 25th October after a long battle with Alzheimers.
Dave was a stalwart of the club from the late 1980’s until well into the 2000’s and was still orienteering up to the Scottish Six Days in 2017 until memory problems made navigation too difficult.
His funeral and a celebration of his life will be at Worcester Crematorium on 15th November at 1.45 pm and afterwards at his family home in Malvern. Any club members who knew him would be welcome. Please email Ian at chair@ngoc.org.uk if you would like to come along.
