With our summer series now complete, we turn to autumn MapRuns in the darker evenings. The first event is around Wyman’s Brook, North Cheltenham, on 7 October (note: a Wednesday event).
This is followed by Thursday evening events in Lydney on 22 October, and Woodmancote/Bishop’s Cleeve on 5 November.
The format is mostly the same as our summer series, with a couple of differences:
- The start window will be one hour long, from 1800 – 1900.
- You’ll be running for at least some of the time in the dark, so you’ll need a headtorch and bright clothing.
Pre-registration will still be required by the evening before the event, via Fabian4: this will be opening soon.
And of course everything is dependent on future COVID regulations: at the moment we’re able to hold organised orienteering events, but things are subject to change.
