A different type of challenge
In score events, there’s no fixed course: instead, there’s a set of control points which you can visit in any order.
- Each control has a point value: your aim is to score as many points as you can within a fixed time (usually an hour).
- Often the highest-scoring controls will be trickier to find, or further away.
- If you pick an efficient route, you can outscore faster runners despite having travelled less far!
Our score events
- We always start the year with a New Year’s Day score event.
- Our Western Night League events are one-hour score events at night.
- Also see our MapRun events: a frequent series of low-key score events using the MapRun app.
